On Top of the World

BY Lola Thelin | February 7, 2018 | Feature Features National

The newly opened furniture haven RH West Palm, The Gallery at CityPlace dominates downtown West Palm Beach with its mammoth stature and revolutionary retail concept.
RH Rooftop Restaurant

Set against an illustriously designed space, the first three levels of the RH store brim with merchandise, yet the rooftop experience may be the crème de la crème. “We wanted to create an experience that feels relaxed, welcoming and comfortable. The beautiful, everyday cafe reflects the casual elegance of West Palm Beach with timeless design and genuine hospitality,” explains Brendan Sodikoff, RH Hospitality president. The three-part, 10,000-square-foot concept, RH Rooftop Restaurant, Wine Vault and Barista Bar transports guests to a faraway land surrounded by heritage olive trees and a soaring atrium decorated with a crystal chandelier. The menu is seasonal and ingredient-driven, but one can hope the Old Bay-spiced lobster roll remains a regular item. There are well-versed options for all palates: morning selections; salads and vegetable dishes; Bourgogne cheese, salmon or prosciutto boards; and sweets and cold-pressed juices. If the mood calls for celebration, then the RH Bellini made with fresh peach puree or a bottle of Dom Pérignon await in the Wine Vault’s intimate loggia with its iridescent gold, groin-vaulted ceilings. 560 Okeechobee Blvd., 561.804.6826
