The Parisian-style brasserie known for its storied history in NYC’s Meatpacking District is now opening its second location in South Florida in 2026, following the success of its Miami counterpart. Pastis, the product of James Beard Award-winning restaurateur Stephen Starr, will make its way to West Palm Beach on the ground level of The Nora Hotel, a new 201-key boutique hotel in the upcoming pedestrian-friendly Nora District.
Developed in partnership with BD Hotels, The Nora Hotel joins a portfolio consisting of some of NYC’s most iconic hotels including The Greenwich, The Bowery, The Mercer, Hotel Chelsea and others. The hotel is slated to be the anchor destination of the lifestyle-driven, curated retail district, its prominence further emphasized by Pastis’s legacy as a quintessential neighborhood bistro.
Pastis West Palm Beach will span 13,300 square feet of The Nora Hotel’s ground floor indoor and outdoor space, maintaining the brand’s signature design as seen in the curved zinc bar, white subway tiles and red banquettes. The menu will be filled with the beloved classics guests have long adored, such as the French Onion Soup, Escargots, Tuna Carpaccio, Chicken Paillard and Steak Frites.
“Since opening Pastis in Miami last year, the positive response to the restaurant has been astounding. Residents of Palm Beach, West Palm Beach and the surrounding areas have asked me countless times to bring Pastis to their neighborhood. With the development of Nora, one of the most exciting and ambitious projects to hit South Florida, we are now going to make that a reality,” said founder and CEO of STARR Restaurants Stephen Starr in a press statement.
