After 25 years as “winter weekend residents,” fashion designers Mark Badgley and James Mischka have finally made Palm Beach home.

“When we relocated here permanently, it was because of the most important reasons: friends, horses, weather and aesthetics,” they say. And with a new-to-the-scene Badgley Mischka store at The Royal Poinciana Plaza, these men about town have been busy fluttering around Palm Beach and making discoveries along the way. Here are their latest finds.
“We—and our customers—love the collection of responsibly sourced rattan bags from Bali that we adorn with our signature and conversational beaded motifs. This is definitely Palm Beach 2021.” Badgley Mischka, 340 Royal Poinciana Way, Ste. M325A, Palm Beach
“You’ve never had Oreo until you’ve had it here. And the Limoncello sorbetto takes us back to the Amalfi Coast.” Piccolo Gelato, 66 Via Mizner, Palm Beach
“This has been our primary excuse for coming weekly to Palm Beach for the last 25 years—fashion trunk shows and charity events were the bonus. It’s the biggest horse show in the world and the best.” Winter Equestrian Festival, 3400 Equestrian Club Drive, Wellington
“Bedner’s Farm Fresh Market is brand new in West Palm Beach with seriously the best selection of home-grown produce, a fancy meat counter and great seafood. Add a to-order juice bar, thoughtful prepared foods and wine, and we are in!” 420 Claremore Drive, West Palm Beach
“Chik Monk is not a coffee truck; it’s a coffee motorcycle! And the best coffee on the island. Nandini Jayaprasad and David Beil oversee the harvest of beans on her family farm in Chikmagalur, India, and roast them locally for a sublime cup. And she has a perfect house blend of plant milks to replace your normal dairy if that’s your (new) thing.” Inside Haven Palm Beach, 211 Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach
