Local jewelry-maker Katia Designs promotes style through spirituality and curates pieces that let inner beauty shine.
For Katia Designs owner Catherine “Katia” Rudnick, style has everything to do with spirituality. Her latest line boasts a collection of bohemian chic-style pieces, made with natural elements such as gemstones, crystals and seashells. “Everyone loves jewelry, but they will only wear it if they feel it is a good reflection of their personality,” says Rudnick.

“The good news is that matching someone’s personality with a style of jewelry is not as difficult as it may seem.” The energy-focused pieces all showcase a pendant with a message and an exclusive stone. From crystal quartz, pearl evil eye, black tourmaline, sediment jasper and more, the earthy-meets-glam styles promote enlightenment, healing and mindfulness. “I make handmade spiritual and empowering jewelry that speaks to your heart and enhances your day,” explains Rudnick. “Customers choose their message first (it could be something you are grateful for or something you strive for), then they pick beads and stone. The goal is to feel good when wearing my piece—and of course wearing a gorgeous, fun one-of-a-kind accessory is a bonus.” She continues, “Not only do the messages on Katia Designs jewelry connect with the person wearing it, but it sends a great message to all who see it. We need more positivity in the world, and this is just one more way to help do that!”
Rudnick handmakes all of the jewelry in South Florida, and every piece features a patent-pending clasp, allowing the necklace to be worn in a variety of different ways to fit any mood or outfit.
