“Whether it’s clothing, art, jewelry or home decor, I’ve always loved the patina of vintage,” says Heir Looms Vintage Rugs (heirlooms.co) founder Nicki Wolf. Born from a decluttering mission, the rug retailer has become known for its reinvigorated, reimagined take on previously loved rugs. “Paired with modern lines and tailored elements, a distressed vintage rug is effortlessly cool and sophisticated,” she says. In time for the season’s kickoff, Wolf bows a new Heir Looms brick-and-mortar on Antique Row. “Our new showroom functions as a curated rug shop where designers and homeowners can shop and be inspired by the beauty of timeworn textiles,” she notes.
