On Jan. 24th, Mary Lou’s opened its doors, marking the debut of a sophisticated new venue that effortlessly blended vintage charm, modern hedonism, and Palm Beach’s storied revelry. Created by hospitality innovators Alex Melillo, Joe Cervasio, and Topher Grubb, the concept went beyond being just another venue—it was an homage to the golden era of Palm Beach opulence and the bold, unapologetic spirit of its muse, Mary Lou Curtis. A legendary figure in West Palm Beach’s fashion scene, Curtis was a force of nature whose daring energy and playful flair became the foundation of this lavish space.
To celebrate its grand opening, Mary Lou’s hosted an exclusive Black Tie Surrealism Affair on the evening of Jan. 23rd, a pre-launch event that captivated its curated guest list of tastemakers, VIPs, and friends of the brand. The affair was a night of fantasy and fun, featuring performances from Goldie Heart’s soulful jazz vocals and an electrifying DJ set by Pete Bolte. Contortionists and an ensemble of female entertainers provided a sensual allure, adding to the evening’s mesmerizing atmosphere. This unforgettable event set the tone for one of Palm Beach’s most anticipated venues.
In addition to its stunning debut, Mary Lou’s announced an exciting partnership with two-time Grammy-nominated duo Sofi Tukker, who joined as Creative Entertainment Directors alongside The Chainsmokers. Their involvement was poised to reshape the venue’s approach to live entertainment, ensuring a unique blend of cutting-edge acoustics and curated talent to make every Mary Lou event a sensory masterpiece. This collaboration cemented the venue’s commitment to revolutionizing the cultural landscape of West Palm Beach, making it a true artist’s haven.
Mary Lou’s offers an experience as extravagant as the woman it was named after, inviting guests to immerse themselves in a world of elevated dining, crafted cocktails, and unforgettable entertainment.
The venue’s wanderlust-inspired martini menu takes patrons on a journey through the history of the iconic espresso martini with its reimagined “Espress Yourself,” while the Altima Caviar menu adds a luxurious touch, with options ranging from traditional to modern accompaniments.
Designed by Volenec Studio, the venue itself was a feast for the eyes, with ornate wood paneling, antique velvet drapery, and a surrealist mural serving as the focal point. Every detail of Mary Lou’s exuded sophistication, transforming it into a Palm Beach destination like no other. 250 Southern Blvd, West Palm Beach
