Hot off the heels of her Palm Beach pop-up, here’s what to know about Palm Beach philanthropist and power figure Lizzie Tisch’s latest entrepreneurial endeavor–LTD (ltdxlizzietisch.com).
Tell us about the beginning of LTD. What was your vision behind this? What inspired you to launch this? LTD was inspired by my love of discovery–emerging fashion brands, innovative bag makers, exciting jewelry designers and any unique creative who is thinking outside the box.
What made you do a pop-up in Palm Beach? Many of my loyal clients are living in Palm Beach and they are always asking about my new finds. Every season I curate a group of brands that reflect the Palm Beach lifestyle.
Why do you believe LTD was popular among the Palm Beach audience? LTD has a little edge combined with perfectly seasonable, wearable and stylish picks for PB which a lot of people can’t find shopping elsewhere so they come to me.
What does your ideal day look like in Palm Beach? A walk on the lake trail or a tennis lesson, lunch at the Colony, a visit to the Norton Museum of Art and a stroll around Royal Poinciana–it has really enhanced the town! To finish the day–a cocktail and dinner at Le Bilboquet.
What’s in the works for LTD? We are taking LTD into the future of fashion and shopping with an innovative digital experience to meet the demand we have from our loyal LTD shoppers.
How do you believe your background in entrepreneurship has helped with the success of LTD? I’ve really learned as I go–it’s really just trusting my instincts regarding product and concept. We are so nimble so we are able to try a lot of things and see what works.
What do you see for the future of your business? I want to bring the excitement of AI to LTD–it’s happening so we definitely want to be ahead of the curve!
Any other information worth including: Jon and I have three grown children who love to come down as often as possible, which is always a treat and a wonderful time spent! Specifically, my daughter Mason, who is an avid photographer, has been down here a few times for some exciting projects.
