Koi Design Group’s new design showroom embodies everything the designer preaches, including bright, beautiful and functional spaces.
This sitting area features the YORK wallpaper by Meg Braff Designs, with sofa and stool by Theodore Alexander.
If you haven’t yet stopped into Victor Figueredo’s new and spectacularly designed showroom, Koi, be prepared to spend the whole day. Patterned Meg Braff wallpaper with cool and comfortable creams, golds and rattans greet you at the door, giving a welcoming nod to the Palm Beach design scene. “This space is where Palm Beach contemporary meets function,” says Figueredo. It’s exactly the outlook he brings to his clients’ homes, often incorporating durable, high-performance fabrics that are user-friendly.

Says Figueredo: “I design rooms that are comfortable, stylish and happy. You can come in and enjoy your life, and if you have a dinner party, you don’t have to freak out if someone spills something like red wine. It’s liberating.” Figueredo’s top priority for his clients is understanding their lifestyle and creating a turnkey experience for his clients. “I ask so many questions. A lot of people design their homes for all the wrong reasons. I want to make sure my clients maximize every space in their house,” he says. Figueredo himself has been a designer for 20 years, but Koi is his first foray into showroom life, where he takes consultations in between jetting off to project sites.
