As cooler temperatures beckon us outdoors and alfresco dining becomes de rigueur (albeit for less romantic and more practical reasons), the timing of the new Amanda Lindroth x Julia Berolzheimer home and tabletop collection couldn’t be better. The line (glassware, trays, tablecloths, hurricane lamps, place mats and the like) clearly showcases both tastemakers’ signatures and strengths. Fashion designer Berolzheimer’s penchant for glam easy garments is apparent through the use of textures that beg to be touched and motifs that recall weather-perfect afternoons. As for Lindroth’s influence? The South Florida native and Palm Beach retailer’s love of island style all but pops off the table. These days meals should always be an occasion, and it’s obvious these two women understand that very well.
