Exclusivity and intimacy are often hard to find these days when it comes to working out. From jam-packed workout classes to crowded gyms, finding solace in fitness is often challenging. That is why Palm Beach’s Labarre Pilates has become one of the hottest spots on the island to get your fix. With only five reformers and tailored instruction, Labarre has attracted celebrities from near and far to take owner Jacquelyn Bevilacqua’s beloved classes. What makes Labarre so unique?
Labarre is a technique I cultivated through my athletics and modeling experience. Form meets function, and what works for a lifetime is barre and Pilates.
How did you get started?
From a young age, I modeled and was a competitive gymnast in South Florida. I knew what dedication and body wellness meant. It’s within my being, and I find it necessary to share.
What do you want your clients to feel when visiting your studio?
I want them to feel private and heard. Even in a group class, I know what each person needs.
What are your three best wellness secrets?
Lymphatic drainage, Endermologie and Arrae’s MB1.
What’s your best advice for someone who wants to get into the wellness sphere but is intimidated to start?
It’s not for the weak. Things that look easy usually aren’t.
