Worth Avenue jewelry boutique owner and gemologist Irene Lummertz goes au naturel with her latest collection.
Incorporating a worldly flair into each dazzling piece, Brazilian gemologist Irene Lummertz blends her fiery passion for fine art and design with a commitment to using all-natural gemstones, as she crafts an exuberant range of eye-catching jewelry.

Staying in tune with Palm Beach’s lush surroundings, nothing exudes a luxury tropical aura like colorful gemstones. From watermelon tourmaline and colored diamonds to the rare and elusive Pairaba tourmaline, Lummertz’s tinted jewels put a premium on innovative techniques and materials. “Gemstones are my passion and the core of my design,” says Lummertz. “Nature does the work and I do the rest.”
Each piece is inspired by her childhood roots in northeastern Brazil. And all euphoric designs serve as an ode to a long lineage of mentors who sparked her ambition to become a distinguished bespoke jewelry master. “Both my grandmother and mother adored and collected fine jewelry, often creating pieces for themselves in collaboration with a small workshop in my hometown of Natal,” says Lummertz. Following in their footsteps, she began her Palm Beach tenure with trunk shows and quickly evolved into a community staple through launching private showings at her intimate shop on Worth Avenue.
At her jewelry salon, expect to get lost in a void of shiny decadence, while the timeless pieces put a spotlight on her savvy ability to mold an array of precious gems into varying shapes and sizes. Also on display at The Colony Hotel, the collection of Lummertz’s animated gems are poised to be the frosting on top of your resortwear look. 256 Worth Ave., Ste. 311, Palm Beach
