Forward Hospitality Group is set to unveil its electrifying 1970s-inspired concept, Good Night John Boy, in Delray Beach this April.
Forward Hospitality Group is set to bring its electrifying 1970s-inspired nightlife experience to Delray Beach with the highly anticipated opening of Good Night John Boy in early April. Nestled in a 5,100-square-foot space within the former Delray Beach Market, this immersive venue will channel the bold, uninhibited spirit of disco’s golden age. With a concept that blends vintage charm with high-energy revelry, guests can expect a nostalgic escape filled with vibrant décor, lively entertainment, and an atmosphere that pays tribute to an era defined by music, style, and uninhibited fun.
True to its name—an homage to the beloved television show The Waltons—Good Night John Boy captures the essence of a time when the dance floor was sacred, and self-expression reigned supreme. Guests will step into a space where Studio 54 glamour meets the warmth of a retro-chic basement, complete with shag carpeting, wood paneling, and neon-lit nostalgia. Iconic images of Burt Reynolds and Farrah Fawcett set the scene, while a custom LED-lit dance floor, disco balls, and nightly DJs create the ultimate soundtrack for an unforgettable night.
Beyond the music and ambiance, Good Night John Boy has earned acclaim for its inventive cocktail program, recently securing a coveted spot as one of the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s Spirited Awards Top 10 Honorees. Delray’s outpost will serve signature libations such as the dirty ashtray, made with Miller High Life with a mezcal sidecar, and the glitter-infused mood ring, a cherry-limeade creation featuring 818 Tequila Blanco and Art of Sucre’s edible glitter bomb. Guests can also enjoy the playful disco punch, a SelvaRey rum punch served in a take-home disco cup, alongside a curated selection of beers, seltzers, energy drinks, and bottle service.
The indulgence extends beyond the bar with a menu curated in partnership with Midwest hotspot Sexton’s, featuring Brooklyn-style pizzas with classic flavors like Margherita and East Village pepperoni and gluten-free and vegan options. The signature Johnny meal, complete with a Sexton’s burger or house-battered chicken tenders, fries, and a take-home toy, adds a whimsical touch to the evening’s festivities. With Delray as its latest destination, Good Night John Boy continues Forward Hospitality Group’s expansion, joining locations in Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, San Diego, and St. Petersburg, alongside a growing portfolio that includes the highly anticipated Shiso in Wynwood Miami and a range of other visionary concepts.
