NEVER A MISSTEP Slippers are no longer just for padding around your home on a Sunday morning with a cup of coffee in hand. Thankfully, devout followers of Stubbs & Wootton have made these iconic slippers a part of our daily lives—perfectly pairing them with dresses, pants and, most definitely, tuxedos. Now, the shoe salon is partnering with influential U.K. design firm Colefax & Fowler to bring us a collection of cotton-velvet jewel-tone slippers with embroidered flowers that reflect the quintessential history of the interior design firm’s iconic chintzes, and whose fabrics grace many of the beautiful homes around the world. Yet another reason why Stubbs & Wootton remains a favorite in our closets alongside our Gucci, Choos and Blahniks. 340 Worth Ave.
