Italian fitness brand Technogym brings high design to home gyms with its Personal line.

Working out at home is de rigueur these days, but let’s face it: For design aficionados, a clunky treadmill or stationary bike is not the most stylish of home accessories. Enter the Personal line from Technogym, a series of fitness machines designed in collaboration with celebrated interior designer Antonio Citterio that are meant to fit in with the most sophisticated of surroundings. Notes Citterio of the Bluetooth- and Wi-Fi-connected pieces, “We strove to implement the design content of fitness machines to allow them to become an active part of interior design projects for domestic spaces,” adding, “I believe every object should be a pleasure to look at. The idea is that working out should be something you do because you enjoy it.” From the sensuous aluminum curvature of the Run Personal to the handstitched upholstery of the Kinesis Personal Heritage leather—plus the new Power Personal, which provides more than 300 strength training exercises—these chic machines will have you working out for the sheer aesthetic pleasure of it.
