Q&A WITH SUNFEST EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR DIANNA CRAVEN:
WHAT DOES THE 40TH ANNIVERSARY MEAN TO YOU AND THE SUNFEST TEAM?
Celebrating 40 years of SunFest fills our entire team with pride. In a region where community events often come and go, SunFest persists through our dedicated volunteers, support from local businesses, and a base of the best and most loyal fans. Reflecting on the countless memories made over the years, our supporters’ shared love for music, art and community drives SunFest forward.
HOW WILL THIS YEAR BE DIFFERENT THAN OTHER YEARS?
Introducing our new Sandbar Stage allows locals to shine on stage. Homegrown artists in our Creative Arts Village will share their products for sale alongside fun and engaging creative opportunities. We’re thrilled to welcome local chefs to our Eatery and VIP areas this year who will offer various delicious options that showcase the flavors of South Florida.
WHAT DO YOU SEE FOR THE FUTURE OF SUNFEST?
I envision SunFest expanding its collaborations with other local art organizations to enhance the diversity of artistic offerings over SunFest weekend and throughout the year. We will continue to create exciting opportunities for local artists to showcase their talents on a broader stage. We hope our steadfast commitment to providing an outstanding yet affordable experience will keep SunFest a hub for music, art and community for years to come.
