The National Polo Center was transformed into an unforgettable venue for the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s (NPCF) signature event, Fashion Funds the Cure. Blending philanthropy with fashion, the event worked to raise funds and awareness for pediatric cancer research, supporting the NPCF’s mission to provide less toxic and more effective treatments for childhood cancer.
Hosted by Miami’s 7News, Emmy award-winning journalist Vanessa Medina, Olympic gold medalist Will Simpson, and cancer warrior-turned-polo player Brandon Phillips, the show’s stars were the brave pediatric warriors who graced the runway, walking alongside models and locals working in their dream profession. Together, they added star power and a personal touch to the event, which was not just a glamorous affair but a celebration of hope for those affected by pediatric cancer.
Fashion Funds The Cure showcases the incredible resilience of children facing pediatric cancer and the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation’s ongoing commitment to finding better treatments for children. The event successfully raised much-needed funds for research aimed at reducing the harmful side effects of current treatments and ultimately improving survival rates for children battling cancer.
