Being stuck at home doesn’t mean you can’t get your favorite spa treatments. Here, Eau Spa’s lead esthetician shares a refreshing pineapple-infused face and body scrub so you can create your own at-home spa oasis for optimal quarantine relaxation.
Eau Spa, Eau Palm Beach Spa & Resort
Eau Spa lead esthetician Judi Church suggests a luxury home facial and body treatment with pineapple face and body scrub. Pineapple naturally contains vitamins A, C, B5, B6, beta carotene, thiamin and folate, which help fight aging. And because it is loaded with antioxidants and alpha hydroxy acids, pineapple fights skin-damaging free radicals and minimizes dark spots and scars. Here, the skin wizard shares the spa’s secret recipe and application process—plus some tips for your post-mask pampering.
INGREDIENTS
¼ cup finely chopped fresh pineapple
1 Tbsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. Eau Spa honey, or any honey you like
¼ cup fine cane sugar
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients together in a small bowl.
PROCESS
When I exfoliate my face, I like to apply the product as a mask for 5 minutes and then take my time and massage it very gently for 3 to 5 minutes.I leave it again to mask while I shower the rest of my body, massage my face again and then rinse well. You will love the feel of your freshly polished skin. You can also double the recipe to use all over your body before showering.
POST-SCRUB SKINCARE
Apply Eminence Hibiscus Ultra Lift eye cream, SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and moisturizer/SPF (an Eau Spa esthetician favorite is Eminence Tropical Vanilla day cream). Repeat every 7 to 10 days as your regular enzymatic home treatment. Apply a luxurious body cream like Eminence Mangosteen body cream following body scrub.
