Prolific, charismatic designer and author Ray Booth is a force to be reckoned with. He’s a partner at esteemed firm McAlpine and has written Evocative Interiors ($55, Rizzoli) which reveals his architectural training and his edited eye. Up next for Booth is his first collaboration with Hickory Chair. Comprising 58 pieces that exude his brand of modern elegance, the collection is as much of-the-moment as it is heritage designs in the making. Says Booth: “This collection reflects my own journey of contrasts and connections— pushing the boundaries of how we see and experience the world around us.
