It’s officially fall, and that means the holidays are right around the corner. That means it’s time to update your cocktail list for friendly gatherings.
If anyone knows how to throw a saucy soiree, it’s Dan Levy. The celebrated actor, writer and director stole our hearts with his hit Schitt's Creek, and now he’s taking up the helm as a partner with Cointreau, espousing the many talents of the orange-flavored liqueur, and sharing his tips and tricks to throwing the perfect holiday party.
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with Dan Levy over the coming holiday season,” says Nicolas Beckers, President and CEO at Rémy Cointreau America. “Cointreau is all about bringing people together to catch up over their favorite cocktails, and this season, the holidays start with a Cosmo.”

When it comes to the cocktail menu, Levy says stick to what’s tried and true.
“In a shock to absolutely nobody, my favorite holiday cocktail is the iconic Cosmopolitan,” he says. “Fortunately for me, it’s also easy to make with just four simple ingredients; Cointreau, vodka, fresh lime juice and a festive splash of cranberry juice. A failsafe, timeless classic.”
First concocted in New York City by Toby Cecchini in 1988, the fan-favorite Cosmopolitan was originally created with Cointreau as a main ingredient.
For this holiday season, Levy spices things up with a sparkly version. You can find both the classic and bubbly brew recipes below.
If you’re looking to spread the good cheer beyond your own bar cart, Cointreau is once again launching its annual Cosmos for a Cause campaign, raising funds in support of the hard-hit hospitality industry.
To support Cointreau’s goal to raise $100,000, all you have to do is order a Cosmo at a participating location from Saturday, Oct. 15 through the end of the year. To learn more, follow Cointreau on Instagram, and be sure to enjoy these Levy-approved beverages below.
