The Cabana Bungalow at The Colony Hotel blends timeless Palm Beach elegance with global design influences, offering an exclusive, immersive experience. This stunning collaboration features bespoke décor, luxurious linens, and signature Ginori 1735 plates, all curated by Cabana Magazine’s Martina Mondadori and designer Ashley Hicks.
The Colony Hotel and Cabana Magazine proudly unveiled the Cabana Bungalow, an exclusive, design-driven collaboration that combines two iconic names in luxury hospitality and design. Located adjacent to the historic Colony Hotel, this one-of-a-kind residence offers guests an unparalleled opportunity to immerse themselves in Cabana’s refined aesthetic while discovering a uniquely Palm Beach interpretation of timeless elegance.
The bungalow introduces an extraordinary blend of bespoke décor, from custom floral linens to Cabana’s iconic Ginori 1735 plates, all reimagined in The Colony’s signature pink, inviting guests to experience a curated journey of beauty, craftsmanship, and heritage.
Designed by Martina Mondadori, founder and editor-in-chief of Cabana Magazine, in collaboration with the renowned designer Ashley Hicks, the Cabana Bungalow evokes the classic elegance captured in the pages of Cabana. Drawing inspiration from legendary interiors and decorators of the past, the design celebrates a bold fusion of global influences with local Palm Beach charm. The living room, featuring vibrant upholstered furniture and textured accents, pays tribute to Italian decorator Verde Visconti. In the dining room, elements inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s Villa Mabrouka transport guests to the timeless bohemian elegance of Tangier, further enhanced by exclusive Ginori 1735 porcelain.
Every corner of the bungalow reflects Cabana’s commitment to craftsmanship, from the eclectic collection of bespoke pieces to the artisanal details that adorn each space. A handcrafted Cabana x Magnetic Midnight pouf from Colombia echoes the legacy of Visconti, while a Japanned black cabinet, acquired at auction, adds a collector’s touch. Inspired by Yves Saint Laurent’s Russian dacha, the kitchen adds a quirky charm with an all-tile island, setting the tone for a playful yet refined atmosphere. Bedrooms are imbued with the layered elegance of English designer David Hicks, creating an immersive retreat that balances comfort with opulence.
The Cabana Bungalow, part of The Colony Hotel’s broader collection of individually decorated residences, is a testament to a refined, globally-inspired Palm Beach lifestyle. This collaboration also extends beyond the residence by releasing a limited-edition capsule collection of linens, ceramics, and décor, ensuring that every detail contributes to an extraordinary hospitality experience. From the personalized services, including a VIP concierge and private residence-only pool, to the meticulously designed interiors, the Cabana Bungalow offers an unparalleled stay where every moment is crafted to reflect the essence of luxury and style. 155 Hammon Ave, Palm Beach
