Cupcake flavors range from classics like carrot cake and chocolate ganache to specialty treats—think candy bar-inspired Chocolate Almond Joy. Founded by self-taught baker Janderyn Makris, Earth and Sugar has been delivering works of confectionery art from its West Palm Beach studio since opening over a decade ago. From cookie cakes and meringues to brownie bars and whimsical cakes, this bakery’s treats are a feast for the eyes. Showing off his culinary prowess at his namesake bakery, Loïc Autret is a thoroughly skilled French pastry chef. Dishing out Basque flavors from the north of Spain, Napoleon Bakery is a West Palm Beach mainstay. Stop in for a hot sauteed jamón sandwich with prosciutto and Spanish olive oil on a toasted baguette. This traditional Scandinavian bakery has been on the scene since the late ’90s.
