Under new leadership, Art Palm Beach Show is sure to dazzle.
Scott Diament, CEO of Palm Beach Show Group
Palm Beach County’s longest-running fair dedicated to contemporary, emerging and modern masterworks of art of the 20th and 21st centuries, Art Palm Beach Show (artpalmbeachshow.com) is a favorite for art enthusiasts and collectors. Before Art Palm Beach’s acquisition by Scott Diament and Rob Samuels of the Palm Beach Show Group, the fair was organized by IFAE founders Lee Ann and David Lester, the original founders of both Art Miami and Art Asia Hong Kong. “We already own the LA Art Show, so we thought let’s marry the two and bring a little L.A. to Palm Beach. The LA Art Show is the most prestigious and innovative art show in America, so it’s a natural fit,” says Diament, a serial entrepreneur, gemologist and Palm Beach resident. “And we’ve totally revamped the show, from immersive experiences to our new VIP invite-only opening night event. We are turning everything on its head, and we can’t wait for Palm Beach to see what we’ve got in store.”
Building on the successes of the past and the current stellar reputation of the LA Art Show, the fair will showcase more than 80 prestigious art galleries. Directed and produced by Kassandra Voyagis, the show will feature renowned art curator Marisa Caichiolo and international artists like Marcos Lutyens. “Having Marcos Lutyens’ artistic practice in this year’s Art Palm Beach Show is indicative of the level of artist and show we are bringing to Palm Beach,” says Voyagis. “Under our leadership, we will be taking this show in a new and exciting direction marrying both fairs in a dynamic state-of-the-art bicoastal enterprise.”
Taking place Jan. 25 to 29 at the Palm Beach County Convention Center, Art Palm Beach Show ticket proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
