Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation’s Premiere Women’s Luncheon struck a chord with Palm Beachers.

THE PARTY As the only charity focused solely on drug research programs for Alzheimer’s, ADDF hosted a fundraising luncheon at Club Colette in honor of philanthropist, trailblazer and founder of, Kim Campbell. Guests were treated to a live auction conducted by renowned auctioneer Thomas C. Quick, featuring an assortment of luxurious items like Lorenz Bäumer earrings and a yacht cruise from Fleet Miami. THE GUESTS Well-known actress and advocate Jane Seymour took a stand for not only Alzheimer’s patients, but specifically for women suffering with the disease. Seymour played host and later discussed with a panel—including the foundation’s chief science officer, Dr. Howard Fillit; and director of the UA Center for Innovation in Brain Science, Dr. Roberta Diaz Brinton—the hopeful treatments being developed. THE HIGHLIGHTS Campbell expressed her gratitude with a heartfelt speech: “I am extremely humbled to receive this Great Ladies Award and express my sincerest thanks to Leonard Lauder and everyone at the ADDF for their continued dedication to finding a cure for Alzheimer’s.”
