Number one on the field and number one in our hearts, the Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation is excited to host its first-ever Tennis Tournament and Luncheon.
Game, set and match! Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital (jdch.com) has helped combat childhood cancer through providing healthcare services and programs. Providing childhood comfort and support, the nonprofit organization has assisted patients, families and childrens’ facilities across South Florida. Given the foundation’s heroic nature, its latest initiative, Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Tennis Tournament and Luncheon, will raise money for its pediatric programs and services.
Presented by the Palm Beach-based Peter and Kristen Gerhard Foundation, this event will make for the perfect, philanthropic Wednesday. Kick off the fundraiser with a stellar breakfast, ladies tennis tournament, luncheon, gift bags and impressive auction items. Some exciting things that bidders can walk away with are a Florida Panthers Suite and a 14Kt White Gold and Diamond Framed Tennis Racquet Pendant.
“It was important to us to support Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation and its Palm Beach county initiatives, and presenting the tennis tournament and luncheon in our community was the perfect way to do that,” said Kristen Gerhard of the Peter and Kristen Gerhard Foundation. “It’s a way our foundation can make a philanthropic statement about how much we value the outstanding healthcare ‘Joe D.’ provides and thank them for all they do for local children and families.”
